Past International President Al Brandel describes the Lions Club International Foundation (LCIF), a community service organization that not only has an effect locally, but globally. This organization, which works closely with the U.N., has over a million members worldwide with 46,000 different clubs in local areas working on the premise of their motto, "We Serve." Each club has an individual cause with a global perspective, and operates through public-private partnerships to strengthen their mobility. One of their most dynamic initiatives is LCIF’s partnership with the United Nations Foundation and World Health Organization to eliminate measles worldwide.

A Countdown Begins
The new homepage for the Anderson Century Bike Ride is finally available.
The Anderson Lions will be out in full force the day of the event manning two rest stops and a lunch stop. We're also involved, to a small degree, in the planning and staging of this terrific one day event.
Many thanks to the Enterprise Lions Club for including us in the participation since its inception.
